Rights & Permissions
Understanding copyright, author rights, and reuse permissions for IJMEER published content.
IJMEER supports authors' rights while maintaining open access to research. All articles are published under a Creative Commons license that balances openness with appropriate attribution requirements.
Copyright & License
Upon publication, all articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work — IJMEER is granted a license to publish in print and electronic form.
Author Rights
Authors who publish with IJMEER retain full copyright and may:
- Use their article for academic and teaching purposes
- Share the published version with colleagues and networks
- Deposit the article in institutional or subject repositories
- Post the article on personal or institutional websites
- Include it in theses, dissertations, or subsequent published works
- Present it at conferences under their own name
Any reuse must include proper attribution to IJMEER as the original publisher.
Reuse & Reproduction
Third parties may reuse IJMEER content under CC BY-NC-SA terms — attribution required, non-commercial use only, adaptations shared under the same license. For educational, research, or reporting purposes, articles may be quoted with proper attribution. For commercial reuse, specific permission must be sought from the editorial office.
Permissions Requests
For use beyond the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 terms — such as commercial reproduction, large-scale distribution, or translation — please contact our editorial office. We respond to permissions requests within 5 working days.
