Research Transparency
IJMEER promotes rigorous transparency in research reporting to ensure integrity and reproducibility of published science.
IJMEER is committed to promoting transparency in research reporting. We follow best practices to ensure the integrity, reproducibility, and trustworthiness of published research.
Data Sharing
Authors are strongly encouraged to share the data underlying their published findings. IJMEER supports open data principles and encourages authors to deposit datasets in recognized repositories (e.g., figshare, Zenodo, Dryad, institutional repositories). Data availability statements should be included in all manuscripts where applicable.
Pre-registration
IJMEER supports pre-registration of research studies. Authors who registered their study protocol before data collection should indicate this in their manuscript and provide the registration link. We also consider registered reports for appropriate study designs — contact the editorial office for details.
Conflict of Interest
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation. Such relationships must be declared in submitted manuscripts. Funding sources and any relevant financial interests must be disclosed completely and transparently.
Materials & Methods Transparency
Authors must provide sufficient detail in their methods sections to allow other researchers to reproduce their work. Where applicable, data collection instruments, materials, stimuli, code, or software must be described or made available. IJMEER supports the sharing of research software and code in repositories such as GitHub or Zenodo.
Reporting Standards
IJMEER encourages authors to follow internationally recognized reporting standards appropriate to their research design, such as CONSORT (clinical trials), PRISMA (systematic reviews), STROBE (observational studies), or ARRIVE (animal studies). Using these standards improves manuscript quality and aids peer review.
Open Science Badges
IJMEER supports open science practices and awards recognition for articles that demonstrate transparency through open data sharing, open materials, or pre-registration. These practices are noted in published articles to facilitate discoverability and trust in the scientific community.
