Abstract
Women entrepreneurs in India's MSME sector remain significantly underrepresented. This paper examines the impact of various government schemes on women-led enterprises in Madurai and Tirunelveli districts. Findings indicate that while scheme participation has a positive impact on short-term business establishment, it has limited impact on long-term sustainability. Mentorship and market access emerge as the most critical unmet needs.
