Follow these guidelines to ensure your manuscript meets IJMEER's formatting and quality requirements before submission.
Author Guidelines
Before submitting your manuscript, ensure it meets IJMEER's requirements. A well-prepared submission speeds up the review process and increases the likelihood of acceptance.
Manuscript Format
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) preferred; PDF for supplementary materials
- Page size: A4; margins 1 inch (2.54 cm) all sides
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
- Length: Research articles 4,000—8,000 words; Review articles up to 10,000 words
- Line numbers: Include for peer review facilitation
Manuscript Structure
Title Page
— Full title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author email, ORCID
Abstract
— 200—300 words; structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
Keywords
— 4—6 keywords for indexing and discoverability
Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion
— Standard IMRAD structure recommended
References
— APA 7th edition format preferred; numbered Vancouver also accepted
Plagiarism Requirements
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. The maximum permissible similarity index is 15% (UGC compliant threshold). Authors may be required to submit a plagiarism report from Turnitin, iThenticate, or an equivalent tool. Self-plagiarism and duplicate submissions are prohibited.
Figures, Tables & Data
- Figures: minimum 300 DPI resolution; JPEG or PNG format
- Tables: clear headers, minimal formatting; included in manuscript file
- All figures/tables must be cited in the main text
- Captions must be self-explanatory
- Data tables: use appropriate statistical notation
